We are excited to announce an enhancement to our Built to Scale Reporting Architecture that gives Admin and Analyst users more control and confidence when designing custom views. This update streamlines how you set default views, ensuring your RevOps teams always land on the most relevant data insights.

The Update: Seamless Default Settings & Live Previews

Historically, setting a Dashboard Default Filter Set required a bit of guesswork, as users couldn’t preview exactly how those filters would render across the dashboard before saving. Our new workflow removes the friction, allowing you to “set it and see it” in real-time.

What’s New & Why It Matters:

  • Live Preview of Default States: You can now see exactly how your filters impact your data before committing to a default. This ensures that when your stakeholders log in, the data is accurate and presented exactly as intended.
  • Default “Group By” Selections: For the first time, you can set the default Group By dimension on widgets. Whether you want your team to see performance by Region, Campaign Type, or Program by default, you can now bake that logic directly into the dashboard.
  • Intuitive “Set as Default” Button: When you adjust a filter or a “Group By” selection within the Filter Drawer, a new Set as Dashboard Default option appears. Clicking this prompts a quick confirmation, instantly updating the dashboard’s starting state for all users.
  • Flexible Workflows: We’ve kept the original Dashboard Default flow intact, so you can choose the method that best fits your current task.

How to Get Started

  1. Navigate to any dashboard within your CaliberMind instance.
  2. Open the Filter Drawer and adjust your filters or Group By selections to your desired state.
  3. Click the new Set as Dashboard Default option at the top of the drawer.
  4. Confirm the selection in the pop-up prompt.
