The Ad Performance Attribution Tab is where you go to get high level metrics on your ad spend performance. You can see information related to attributed pipeline, opportunities and bookings as well as filter by individual platform.

The report’s attribution is calculated by focusing exclusively on interactions generated by marketing Ad Channels. The model first identifies which ad campaign initiated a digital session. If an eligible touch occurs during that session, the credit is given to that specific ad campaign. This allows for a clear view of performance indicators like impressions, clicks, and leads, ensuring the direct impact of ad spend is not diluted by non-paid channel interactions.

Important Note: All filters apply to all widgets as a rule unless otherwise noted.

The KPI Metrics for the Attribution Tab show you top level metrics for your current ad performance spend. It shows you high level performance indicators related to attributed pipeline, opportunities and bookings.

  1. Attributed Pipeline: the sum of pipeline with attributed touches associated during the time period selected
  2. ROI – Pipeline: the multiplier based on how much you spent during the time period and how much pipeline was generated
  3. Opps Attributed: the count of opportunities from the selected date period
  4. Avg. Cost per Opp: the average cost per opportunity sourced
  5. Attributed Opp Won Amount: the sum of bookings with attributed touches associated during the time period selected
  6. ROI – Opps Won: the multiplier based on how much you spent during the time period and how many bookings were generated
  7. Attributed Opps Won: the number of closed won opportunities during the time period
  8. Avg. Cost per Opp Won: the amount spent in order to bring in a closed won Opportunity

Advertising Funnel

The Advertising Funnel shows you the progression from impressions to clicks to leads to opportunities attributed to attributed opportunities booked. The size of each section is locked and will not change based on these counts.

  1. The title of the chart “Advertising Funnel”
  2. Impressions: the count of impressions generated during the time period selected
  3. Clicks: the count of clicks generated during the time period selected
  4. Leads: the count of leads generated during the time period selected
  5. Opportunities Attributed: the count of opportunities with attribution generated during the time period selected
  6. Attributed Opportunities Booked: the count of opportunities with attribution that were moved to closed won during the time period selected

Percent of Spend by Platform

The Percent of Spend by Platform chart shows you the percentage breakdown of where your dollars were spent during the time period selected.

  1. The title of the chart “% of Spend by Platform”
  2. This shows you the platforms where we’re currently receiving your spend information

Cost per Opportunity Over Time vs. Total Number of Opportunities

The Cost per Opportunity Over Time vs. Total Number of Opportunities chart shows you the average cost per opportunity created over time alongside the sum of total opportunities created over time.

Note: There are two y-axis on this chart.

Cost per Booking Over Time vs. Total Number of Bookings

The Cost per Booking Over Time vs. Total Number of Bookings chart shows you the average dollar amount spent in order to Book a Closed Won Opportunity alongside the sum of Booked Closed Won Opportunities over time.

Note: There are two y-axis on this chart.

Platform Performance

This table shows you all the previously mentioned metrics aggregated by platform for the selected time period.

  1. Platform Performance: the widget title
  2. Platform: shows the platforms we have received data for
  3. Spend: shows the aggregated spend by platform over the selected date period
  4. Opps Attributed (Pre-Opp): the sum of opportunities with attribution before the opportunity was created
  5. Opps Attributed (Post-Opp): the sum of opportunities with attribution after the opportunity was created
  6. Avg Cost per Opp: The average amount spent in order to generate an opportunity by platform over the time period selected
  7. Attributed Opps Won: the count opportunities attributed to a given platform that moved to close won within the selected time period
  8. Attributed Pipeline: the amount currently in the pipeline by platform over the time period selected
  9. Attributed Opp Amount Won: the amount currently in closed won opportunities by platform over the time period selected
  10. ROI – Pipeline: a multiplier showing you how much pipeline is generated for every one dollar spent by platform over the time period selected
  11. ROI – Opps Won: a multiplier showing you the value of the closed won opportunities created for every one dollar spent by platform over the time period selected

Campaign Performance

This table shows you all of the previously mentioned metrics aggregated by campaign for the selected time period.

  1. Campaign Performance: the widget title
  2. Campaign: shows the campaigns we have received data for
  3. Platform: shows the platforms associated with the campaign (Note: the same campaign can show up under different platforms)
  4. Spend: shows the aggregated spend by campaign over the selected date period
  5. Opps Attributed (Pre-Opp): the sum of opportunities with attribution before the opportunity was created
  6. Opps Attributed (Post-Opp): the sum of opportunities with attribution after the opportunity was created
  7. Avg Cost per Opp: the average amount spent in order to generate an opportunity by platform over the time period selected
  8. Attributed Opps Won: the count opportunities attributed to a given platform that moved to close won within the selected time period
  9. Attributed Pipeline: the amount currently in the pipeline by platform over the time period selected
  10. Attributed Opp Amount Won: the amount currently in closed won opportunities by platform over the time period selected
  11. ROI – Pipeline: a multiplier showing you how much pipeline is generated for every one dollar spent by platform over the time period selected
