Certain Salesforce formula fields reference Roll-Up Summary fields. To ensure CaliberMind can successfully sync these values, the integration user requires access to the Field Definition object. Unlike standard objects (e.g., Account or Campaign), this is a Tooling API object that requires specific administrative permissions to be enabled.

Here are the steps for allowing access to the Field Definition object:

  1. Sign in as a Salesforce Admin
  2. Review the User List to identify the Profile assigned to the user account used for the CaliberMind SFDC connector
  3. Head to Setup
  4. Navigate to Profiles
  5. Select the profile used for the CaliberMind SFDC Connector
  6. Scroll to System Permissions
  7. Ensure the following permissions are enabled:
    • API Enabled
    • View Setup and Configuration
    • View All Data
  8. Save changes to the profile
