Flexible Sync Strategies: Upsert vs. Mirroring
Control exactly how data updates in Hubspot with two distinct strategies:
- Update or Create (Upsert): Updates existing Hubspot audience records matching your Sync Key or adds new ones without altering the rest of your audience list.
- Update: Update existing records only. New Records are not created.
- Delete: Delete matching records from the destination.
- Insert: Insert new records only. Existing records are never modified.
- Mirror (Source of Truth): Keeps your Hubspot audience identical to your CaliberMind list by creating, updating, and automatically removing records as accounts or contacts enter and leave your segment.
- Why it matters: Mirroring automates audience hygiene, ensuring you stop wasting ad spend on accounts or contacts that no longer fit your campaign criteria.

How to Get Started
- Go to Settings > Activations > Destinations
- Authorize your Hubspot Destination (ensure your account has Hubspot Admin privileges).
- Head over to Lists, pick the target account or contact list you want to push, and click Activations to initiate the Sync Wizard.
