Funnel Overview - Summary Tab

This Dashboard shows you your current journey landscape. Answering questions like:

  • How many journeys do we have in each stage?
  • How long are journeys in a given stage?
  • How much pipeline do I have associated with each stage of the journey?
*Important Note: All filters apply to all widgets as a rule.

The KPI Metrics for the Summary tab show you top level metrics for your Funnel’s current journey landscape. It lets you know how you are doing at the top and bottom of your funnel and how those numbers compare to the previous 30 days performance.

  1. Journey Starts Last 30 - this is defined as the number of journeys that began in past 30 days (1 to 31 days ago)
  2. vs. Previous 30 - this is defined as the number of journeys that began in past 30 days minus the number of journeys that began 32 - 62 days ago
  3. Successful Completions Last 30 - this is defined as the number of journeys that successfully completed a funnel journey in the last 30 days (1 to 31 days ago)
  4. vs. Previous 30 - this is defined as the number of journeys that successfully completed a funnel journey in the last 30 days minus the number of journeys that were completed 32 - 62 days ago

Funnel Snapshot

This widget creates a visual representation of the funnel and calculates 4 key pieces of information broken out by funnel stage. Count of Active Journeys by Stage, Count of Opportunities by Stage, Pipeline by Stage, Stage Conversion Rate.

  1. Count of Active Journeys by Stage - this tells you how many active journeys (not completed or failed) are in each stage. The “Active” means it’s possible to have more journeys in a later stage of the journey than in an earlier stage.
  2. Count of Opportunities by Stage - this tells you the number of opportunities that exist for the journeys that are currently in this stage
  3. Pipeline by Stage - this is the sum of the opportunity amounts of all opportunities attached to journeys.
  4. Stage Conversion Rate - this is the rate at which journeys convert from this stage to a future stage

Funnel Time Comparison

This widget shows the count of journeys hitting various stages broken out by quarter over the current and 4 preceding quarters. Under certain funnel configurations it is possible to show more journeys hitting a later stage than an earlier stage in the funnel in a given time frame though that should be a rare occurrence and may be a sign of either a misconfigured funnel, or very old journeys (older than the current + 4 previous quarters) progressing through the funnel.

 

  1. Stage Name - each stage is grouped into the current quarter and 4 preceding quarters
  2. Journey Count - this is the number of journeys that entered into each stage during the quarter displayed

Journeys by Stage

This table widget shows a summary of high level KPIs broken out by stage. Some of these measures exist elsewhere on this tab, others are introduced in this table.

  1. Stage Name - displays the name of each stage for the selected funnel.
  2. Pipeline - displays the amount of dollars associated with opportunities in each stage of the selected funnel.
  3. Active Journeys in Stage - displays the count of currently active journeys in each stage of the selected funnel.
  4. Journeys Reaching Stage Last 90 - displays the count of journeys that reached the selected stage of the selected funnel in the last 90 days.
  5. Average Days in Stage All Time - displays the average number of days a journey remains in this stage based on previous funnel history.
  6. Average Days to Advance - displays the average number of days a journey remains in this stage for journeys that advance to a further stage based on previous funnel history.
  7. Conversion Rate All Time - displays the percentage of journeys that have reached the selected stage and later advanced to a future stage.
  8. Exit Rate All Time - displays the percentage of journeys that been terminated in the selected stage
