Dashboard Function Reference
The following is a list of all the functions you can use in Sisense’s formula editor. Aggregative functions are marked with (A) next to their names, row functions are marked with (R) next to their names. Functions that are only supported for ElastiCubes are marked with (EC) next to their names. All other functions are supported for both ElastiCube and Live models.
Shared Formulas
If the Shared Formulas feature is activated, dashboard and widget designers have the ability to create and store shared formulas that can be shared and reused across multiple widgets simultaneously, without the need to redefine the same formula for each widget. This not only saves time but also allows editing the formula in one place, and thereby update the formula in each of the places it is used automatically, instead of having to search for each instance of the formula and changing it manually in those locations.
Using Quick Functions
Quick functions are another feature to make working with formulas easier. The Widget Designer provides a variety of predefined commonly used functions that you can easily apply in the Data Browser when selecting a Value to be included in a widget.
